About the Creators
Adoption Academy was founded by a team with more than 15 years of direct, hands-on experience in the world of U.S. domestic adoption. During that time, we worked alongside adoption professionals, expectant mothers, and adoptive families, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges, questions, and decisions that shape the adoption journey. Our work included developing resources, tools, and guidance that supported families from their first questions through placement and beyond.
We understand how complex and overwhelming the adoption process can feel, especially when you’re trying to piece together information from multiple sources. We’ve seen firsthand how uncertainty, unanswered questions, and inconsistent information can add unnecessary stress during an already emotional time.
 We created Navigating Domestic Adoption to bring that essential knowledge together in one place — clear, unbiased, and accessible to anyone considering adoption.
